The Electronic Human Resource Management System (e-HRMS) implemented by AHIDMS is an integrated digital platform to streamline and manage all aspects of human resource activities within Medical College & Hospitals, Dental, and Nursing institutions under the Medical Education and Research Department, Govt. of Assam.

The system enables transparent, efficient, and real-time management of employee data, covering every stage of the HR lifecycle—from posting to leave, service records, and retirement.

Currently, the e-HRMS Portal is operational across all Government Medical College and Hospitals, Dental Colleges, and Nursing Institutes in the state.

Objectives:
  • To digitize and centralize personnel records of all employees.
  • To improve administrative efficiency and reduce manual paperwork.
  • To ensure transparency in HR processes such as transfers, promotions, and leave management.
  • To facilitate data-driven planning and decision-making in human resource management.

  • Employee Profile Management: Digital records of service history, postings, qualifications, and designations.
  • Leave & Attendance Module: Online application, approval, and tracking of leaves.
  • Transfer & Posting Management: Streamlined workflow for transfers, postings, and joining reports.
  • Service Record & Appraisal Tracking: Maintenance of complete career progression details and annual confidential report (ACR)
  • Reports & Analytics: Institution-wise and department-wise HR dashboards for administrators.
  • Role-based Access control (RBAC): Secure access for employees, administrators, and departmental officers.

Implementation:

The e-HRMS Portal is being implemented in a phased manner across all government health education institutions. The system is currently functional in all Medical Colleges, Dental Colleges, and Nursing Institutes, and further expansion to other healthcare facilities is planned.
